Jacqui came to us with an idea for her sign based on another design. Despite reworking the artwork several times, we found that the design just didn't work well with the proportions of the sign. Often if we have alternative ideas for signage that we believe can work well, we will show this idea to the customer. This initial alternative idea was developed into the sign you see here.
The lettering on the left designed to look like various samples of fabric stiched onto the signboard, completed with a subtle shadow. The red background on the right has a fabric texture and looks like it has been cut with a fabric scissors, leaving a zig-zag effect also with a subtle shadow.
The fascia board has been left blank either side of the signboard as requested by the customer, ready for painting.
